Founder

Inga´s vision when Abury Stable was incorporated in 2006 was to have a world-recognized sporthorse breeding and training center. That vision is what shapes the direction of Team Abury still today. Inga will often be seen at horse shows and inspections cheering on her own horses, as well as those of our clients. Her enjoyment and pride in the success of each horse and rider is infectious. She´s also still competing in Eventing.

Clara Doyle

Co-Owner, Rider

Clara grew up with horses on her family’s small warmblood breeding farm in Maine and raised and started a number of homebreds. Clara first joined the Abury team in 2006 as a working student with James Madison. Dressage

Kylie is our "baby". She nearly grew up at Abury. She started to come here as a six-year old sassy girl that wants to learn to ride more than everything else. Unfortunatly her family wasn´t able to effort the riding lessons so this little tough girl starts to brush and spoil our horses as the "payment" for her riding lessons.

Inga met Elenor in Germany while they both were visiting the Dressage Stable Weichert to look for new dressage prospects. The two women immediatly felt a symphaty to each other and during their talking Elenor told Inga that she would love to get a new challenge to improve her riding style and that she was bored in the small stable she was riding for. Inga invited her to Abury and well... Elenor is now strengthen our eventing team.

Phoebe is a niece of James Madison. She grew up on her parents Warmblood farm near the Canadian Boarder. It looks like that all Madison family members somehow find their way to Abury. ^.-

Hikari Olsen

Reining  & Western Trail

Anne met Hikari during her time volunteering at the St. Claire´s orphanage. This special sweet girl grew up at the orphanage. Her mother died short after she was born. She never met her father, who lives in Japan.

When she was a toddler she was sick with parotitis  and some consequences still affect her life.

First Anne asked Hikari to come to us in her spare time coz she told her that she loves horses so much. But when the team met this lovely girl they decided to take her in as a foster-child.

Odette Grey Dusseau

Dressage & Halter

Odette is our "Irish Whirlwind". This energetic little woman is well known for her explosive temper. She never stood still...

Odette started to study at the UDC in Dublin but than had to stop coz of heavy financial problems inside her family.

She came to us as a stable  hand and is now since three years a full member of our team.
